1st Spinothon: From Sherbrooke to Gulu
On January 30th come join a sporting challenge and help raise funds for the Become Part of the Story campaign!
In partnership with Gym MAXICLUB-Belvédère, cyclists will work out on spinning bikes. Together, cyclists will cover about 1,000 km per hour, aiming to reach the 10,000 km distance it takes to cross from Sherbrooke to Gulu, the northern Ugandan town where Lacor Hospital is located. Individually or in relay teams, participants will be cheered on by top spinning trainers during the 10-hour event. A giant screen will project breathtaking videos of scenery and cycling. Music, enthusiasm, and energy will produce an electrifying atmosphere, which will help push the cyclists to test their limits.
Registration costs $80/hour for individuals or $500/team (maximum 8 people).
From 8am to 6pm.
Each participant will receive a snack, a ticket for a prize draw, and an event t-shirt.
All registration fees and donations will go to the Equipment and Operational Costs Chapters of the Become Part of the Story campaign.
Good luck!
